“Uncle Shooter” New Project from Shooter McShootem

Can somebody please tell me where the hell is “Shooterville”?

I mean plenty cities step up to the claim of being murder capitol but Shooterville? If you got an idea where this is, what state help a brother out please.
Allow me to introduce you to Shooter Mcshootem, Shootervilles finest and his new project “Uncle Shooter”
Now I’m going to assume due to the flow, beat selection and content that this artist is from the west side. West coast to be clear but hey I’ve been wrong in the past so it is what it is. But i think this description will help give the listener a idea of what’s in store.
I’m not sure if the young folks can vibe with this because it’s not the rhythmic sing songs music that’s running the industry today. That said if your a fan of some hard hitting classic samples with a easy to digest flow that you can relate to the content this is the perfect joint to turn on and listen from back to front.
One of the things I get nervous about is when artist use samples, 8 times out of 10 the production placed around the sample just doesn’t cut it, doesn’t knock my speakers. (yea I still bang shit thru my technics pre Amp and huge house speakers) Let me tell you the tracks hit hard, sound complete and feels good.
The delivery of the lyrics feels like im just chillin with “Cuh” in a personal setting. Perfect riding music and if your not careful you can find yourself catching a ticket on the e-way.
Shooter asked me, “what’s your favorite joint cuh”?  It was hard to answer cause it changes based off what I’m doing. When I hop in the whip on the way to do something productive I start Uncle Shooter with “Big Dummy” The production was executed perfectly. The bars were entertaining and straight facts.
From there i usually move to Wanna be Saved. Make sure you peep the intro. I get a good laugh every time, you would be lying if you said you didn’t know anyone like that. From there I take it to the top and let it ride. Need something to bump at the summer gathering, something to show off your knocking car system this will be your go to.
I was in the barber shop down in Atlanta where all that was being played was lil baby, Gucci, ect. I was giving my barber a sneak peek of the project and the owner said “yo shat shit sound good” Bluetooth on to the big speaker. Shop was loving it. It was time for me to go and he said shoot me that link fam. Hated to tell him he had to wait for the release in 2 weeks cause “I aint trying to have Shooter Mcshootem looking for me cuh, ya feel me”

SAM WATSON : Passion and Prose of “Dark Rose”
With a sound that is both introspective and confident as it is vulnerable yet sensually slamming!! Vocalist SAM WATSON’s upcoming release called “Dark Rose” dropping July 28 is what he calls his best work to date and hopes to gain more mainstream recognition with his own music. Leading off with the song “Done”, a Summery mid tempo groove cut, about finally letting go of a toxic relationship. The percolating bounce, combined with WATSON’s smooth delivery. Is engulfing as it is lithe. The Album “Dark Rose” promises to deliver more beautifully lush and plush vibes courtesy of the young Producer, Songwriter and In Demand Engineer with a Golden Ear. The young Artist has a definitive sound that flows over like a Warm breeze in late Summer, and has been a force in the Detroit area as not just a reliable and consistent artist. But a solid Producer and collaborator for many other young artists looking to raise their own fortunes as artists, by securing WATSON as a producer and engineer.. “Dark Rose” promises to demonstrate SAM WATSON’s passion and prose

“The Finest” Album Produced by Merch Music

Published

Merch Music has managed to gather some of The Finest emcees from the city of Detroit. Thus the title of this release. The first track leads off with How Far ( Just a Shame). An infectious production with bars from the late great The Prezident Chris Walker (Rip) x LogicLDot & melodic hook my Slautah REs. Dubbed with a music video that was filmed at a downtown cigar bar. There’s a level of sophistication when listening to the single. Makes you see things from a grown-up point of view. “Bars in the booth” Is the truth on the next song feat. Ben Frank another Detroit native by way of Atlanta who is making noise in his own way. “Live On” by my Mr. CliffNote and Pierre Anthony reminds us that the Sun still shines when it rains outside. A reminder for us all who may be going through stuff times. Which is a single that’s also featured on Note to Self.

The Finest has guest appearances by Gabe Gonzalez, Enema Squad, Neco Redd, J Hill( Big Proofs cousin), Quest Mcody & Marv Won (rap battle giants), Unko Jozee, Mr. Furious & Dogmatic Kstone just to name a few.
The production throughout the album has a wide range of musical taste from neo soul/R&B to trap. Which is not expected from Merch Music being that he’s known for boom bap and sample heavy Chops. There’s not one track that you would want to skip. The Finest is definitely a masterpiece of work that will be remembered by many. The Finest by Merch Music
