Jonnie Morris – “Back Down”

Published

on

It was quite the introductory year for Detroit emcee Jonnie Morris in 2018! The budding artist not only made it to finals for a #UHHA2019 performance but also managed to come in at #22 for his debut ep “It’s All Beautiful and It’s All Good” on my year-end top fifty selection found here. It’s a new year though and Jonnie Morris isn’t wasting a moment of it with brand new music, in fact, he won’t “Back Down” at all with this heavy hitting new single that braces us for his incoming sequel of sorts to his last ep. “Jonnie, Be Good” hitting digital shelves everywhere on February 1st. For anyone who’s been following the growth of one of the cities top upcoming lyricists, one thing is for certain, “Back Down” is just the beginning of what’s in store for 2019.
