The time has finally come… Detroit-based music producer Grayce
(pronounced gra-ace) Musik does what he does best on his first independent release EP, “Take These
Roses.”.

To celebrate the record’s arrival, he just unleashed the music video for the new single “Skim Milk” featuring
veteran Detroit emcee Marquise Porter. The video interweaves grainy nineties-style footage of Detroit street
scenes and local landmarks with special effects and flashes of green light as Porter rips bars.

TTR leads listeners on a 22 minute journey into the realms of reality rap over sonic beds of intense lush vibes
& hard-knock drums….Also known as “Joe Loopz.,” Grayce Musik recruits some of the top rising and
established MCs from The Renaissance City. From rising rapper Ralphie The Ruler to the legendary Strike
Money (8 Mile movie) and more….. “I connected with these artist first because I’m a fan ,second we rock with
and respect each other’s craft. This project will be the first of many. Bottom line I’m here.” The title “Take
These Roses” was inspired by the City of Detroit..A city with all it’s problems still manages to grow roses, that
blossom and bloom, from hard streets…The artist all the tell their truths about the city and how to survive.
