Da Ruckus New Album “Da Unreleased Episode”

Published

on

Emcee producer HUSH and UNCLE ILL has blessed us all with a blast from the past. Da Unreleased Episode is the last album Da Ruckus was working on before they started working on solo projects. This was the follow up work to Episode 1. They pressed 50 CDs and 50 Cassettes for fans and that was the only light of day the project seen. D.U.E. never got an official release and twenty plus years later hear we are. This album has gems!
The first track “Life Is A Gamble serves as a reminder and pays homage to the prior release Episode 1. Track two called “Eye Confess” features pre record deal D12 member Eiy-Kyu. These three emcees confess some issues from within to a beat that’s perfect for doing so. What ever happened to Eiy-Kyu?
Da Ruckus features their short lived Generation Techs crew on songs “We Are” and “Check It” featuring Da Brigade who are D12 members Kon Artis and Kuniva. GT lasted about as long as both songs combined but left us some solid recordings.
Over all this is a well rounded album.
The production and rhymes are more of what you loved about Episode 1. Out of five mics this a strong four. This album is a must hear for hip hop heads and available on every music streaming platform.

Hashous Clay DIED 4/13/2013 12:37am Stockton, CA.
Paradoxically, Burgeoning from the West side of Detroit hailing from Hollywood, CA., Rapper
Hashous Clay was resurrected 4/20/2013 3:07am in Stockton, CA.
Clay endured a massive heart attack Succumbing to cardiac arrest 10 times. While recovering, one
year later to the date the prodigy had a stroke that severely damaged the right side of his brain and
ameliorating his genius forever.
Mind Bogglingly, through riding a bicycle, Hashous Clay taught himself to write and perform again.
Since the beginning of his career, Clay harnessed his skill by performing and battling throughout
the city. His talent gained the attention of the late Big Proof which led to a deal from “Iron Fist
Records” before Big Proof’s Untimely demise.
A couple of months later, the masterful Hashous Clay moved to Arizona where Wu Tang Clan’s
Cappadonna caught wind of Hashous Clay at a studio in Phoenix. This ultimately led to two features
on the Cappadonna’s classic album titled “The Pillage 2”.
His ingenuity has been resurrected through his adept rap skills and he is back in
2022 with his latest album “Fonkin up traffic”.
“Fonkin Up Traffic” as Hash himself delineates “…is Me riding 25 miles exorcising my demons”. It is
the soundtrack to wellness, triumph, and surviving. All you need is a bike and you too can Fonk Up
Traffic.
Take control of your mind, body, and soul, we “Fonkin Up Traffic”.

Ty Farris x Sebb Bash – Fluorescent Mud LP

It has been an honor and privilege to witness the journey of Detroit’s Ty Farris with my own eyes. Back in the early 2000’s when you had to battle rap to earn the respect of your peers in order to make your way into the Detroit Hip Hop Scene, Ty made a name for himself as a battle rapper renowned in the city alongside his partner-In-rhyme: Famous. After multiple mixtapes together and being mentored by the late great Big Proof, eventually Ty took his hunger, competitive mindstate, and undeniable work ethic and incorporated it into his solo music which led him to crafting a critically acclaimed and highly lauded catalog Including the celebrated “No Cosign Just Cocaine” series.  He also went headfirst into the business side of music, his brand “bars over bs”, which prides itself on high quality music and merchandise. Ty Is back with a new project: “Fluorescent Mud” produced entirely By Sebb Bash. This album is a carefully detailed work of art, One Of One! After 4 years of meticulously crafting this project, it is safe to say that it is a radical departure from the sound of many of his underground contemporaries. Sebb Bash provides some of the most uniquely crafted and sonically diverse production of Ty’s career. It’s no mistake The Alchemist himself reached out to Bash and executive produced his instrumental project “Imports” released under his label ALC Records.  Sebb provides Ty Farris with unconventional and at times challenging beats to push his pen to its limits. Features from the witty air walking flow of Estee Nack & the legend and one of the godfathers of the underground Planet Asia. This project was mixed and mastered by one of the best in the world, the Grammy award winning  Philippe Weiss whose credentials include some of the top performing musicians of the last 4 decades . The artwork was handmade and captured by the masterful Alex Lala. Fluorescent Mud is a break from the endless sea of formulaic and sometimes monotonous underground releases. Over the album’s 13 tracks it showcases 2 masters of their crafts melding their talents into something truly worthy of praise. It is great to see an eastside Kid From 6 Mile And Davidson overcome the odds and become a top-tier Emcee and successful entrepreneur in the underground wave! Support And Cop The Album Here
