The Plant (Web Series) created by Kenyon "Jigsaw" Pruitt

If you come from an area of the country known as the “MIDWEST”, chances are you know or understand “The Plant” life. Enter writer, director, and producer Kenyon “Jigsaw” Pruit. The Plant is a comedic true to life series about life in the manufacturing industry. The Plant is a lot different than working in the retail industry. In retail you deal with different people frequently during the day, but “The Plant” normally has you in close quarters with the same people 40 plus hours a week. This element is what ties “The Plant” together. A small group of people from all races, backgrounds, and religions for that matter. In the plant a matter of months can see people go from strangers to friends, lovers to enemies. My only complaint about this series is that we only get 5 episodes. But those 5 episodes was perfectly executed as we got familiar with the cast in a non-rushed hilarious way.Plant supervisor Wil has the difficult task of keeping this band of misfits productive first and working as a team overall.  But as we all know it’s a hard job trying to keep from mixing business with pleasure as we learn in the first episode that it’s some “FREAKY THANGS” going on up in “The Plant”. Within the first 10 minutes of episode one we find Will and Ms All That Nika ready to get busy, but Will could use a “Little something to get the mood right. While turning on some ADULT extra-curricular activities they see none other than co-worker Goldie Fox who seems to be the (RESIDENT HOT GIRL) of the crew.No matter where you go in the work place you always seem to have those folks that have little respect for people’s property or personal space. What’s a lunchroom without some one ending up pissed that the lunch they been waiting all day for just happens to “DISAPPEAR” when its time to grub. The first to fall victim in episode one is the 6ft 5 275 lb Big Baby of the bunch KONG. Now I don’t really know how tall or how much this dude weighs but why they call him Baby is beyond me, maybe they following the Baby wave in music now but my bad I digressed, lol. Mr. Know it All Love Joy plays the IDGAF I’m going to do what I want this my world role with his recent Long John Silver siting.I don’t care where you work somewhere lurking is the weed head and all we know about our man in “The Plant” is his name is Homie, lol. Only problem with Homie is it looks like he enjoys being a clown on the job. Being high, in a plant is a recipe for disaster and that’s where Homie the Weed Head takes us wile goofing around with Big Scam, who looks like a little version of Big Baby, yea I’m confused too lol. Big Scam is that Asshole at work that just say the most insensitive yet realist spill ever. Can you really be mad at that? Hell yea that fool know what he doing! Anyway, I am sure we all know where this is going… DRUG TEST!!!! Which is going to lead to SAFETY INSPECTION! Both NIGHTMARE events when you are talking about that Plant Life. As we wrap up all of this enlightenment in the first episode, we find T (the Stud) suffering from some cramps and Big Scam and Big Baby Kong walk off and leave her with what we thought may have been something for pain. Minutes later we find out that wasn’t any Tylenol and T is off the Chain ready to get DOWN!!!!The following episodes give us a chance to know the rest of the crew like the front office staff that works directly with Wil like his Assistant Candace your typical “White” black girl you can find in many Midwest urban areas. Her interaction with the mail man and the UPS guy are hilarious. Dianna Red bone the Hustler is quick to find any opportunity to “Get A Bag” hook or crook. And you better think twice about asking for any kind of refunds. Where would we be without somebody to kiss the boss ass, be everybody friend just to share the info with management for a personal come up, never quite ends the way they plan but the provide great entertainment to the workday in form of daily gossip. Entity sure gives the character justice. Rounding out the colorful cast is UcciKhann the formerly incarcerated Muslim. Tables turn on everybody when he meets his “White Devil” counterpart, LMAO!!!As I said at the beginning of this review, my only complaint is that I didn’t have more episodes to enjoy a good laugh, that said I’m looking forward to Season 2, and if any the participants for season ones finale The Job Fair made the cut.https://tubitv.com/series/300008603/the-plant
