MSTYK DETROIT Announces Online Community for Independent Artist
MSTYK MGT LLC socially known as MSTYK DETROIT has announced an online course for independent artists that are self-managed or struggling to find representation. MSTYK ACADEMY opens its virtual doors to the public on Saturday, February 1, 2020. Created and owned by Detroit native Jillynn “Luna” Reese, a Western Michigan University Public Relations graduate and Personal Manager to “Detroit’s Trap Diva” Tiny Jag. “This course focuses on teaching artists how to package and promote their talent. One thing I’ve learned quickly as a Personal Manager is that staying booked requires solid branding...and there is no way around it.” says Reese. MSTYK ACADEMY is a simplified educational system designed to teach and inform artists how to brand themselves and get booked.
“Tiny Jag launched in 2018, and in 18-months we’ve done 60 shows, landed brand collaborations and more...all from solid branding and consistency.” Reese shared. The academy is open to singers, rappers, songwriters, producers, and novice managers. Whether you’re rebranding or just getting started you’ll be able to apply all topics discussed to artistic brand. Enrollment is subscription based for $14.95 per month or $149.95 per year. The program is completely virtual, with lessons from Luna and guest industry experts sharing best practices and resources.
