Aaria by name, aria by nature. ‘PopnB’ artist Aaria has become the embodiment of what it means to be versatile in 2020 and beyond. As a performing artist, she taps into a rich tapestry of musical heritage and places it front and center stage for the world to embrace and experience.
Hailing from Detroit by way of Trinidad, she was heavily influenced by the sound of Motown and the spirit of the gospel greats. She went on to be trained in classical, musical theatre and jazz, affording her the ability to hone her craft and create a sound that infuses the colorful worlds of pop and R&B.
The unique shades she imparts on music, combined with her work ethic, charisma and passion, all make up the ingredients of her illustrious career thus far. However, this was not always so clear for Aaria, who spent years overcoming self-doubt to realize the potential that her peers saw in her. Themes of love, positive energy, universal truths, independence and female empowerment run deep through her veins, providing the direction she requires in order to inspire and connect with her audience and their collective consciousness.
Having recently earned her BFA Degree in Musical Theater from The New School, Manhattan, Aaria is now applying the finishing touches to her two next highly anticipated singles. These are set for release 2020, and encapsulates her musical talents and highlights exactly why she is a figurehead to watch in 2020 and beyond.
