New up and coming producer DeMarvelous L. Carter began his musical career in 2005 with a rough copy of FL Studio and an old Dell Computer in his college dorm room in Northern Michigan. He spent all of his off time and even on time creating beats that were not yet presentable but promised. He found himself not leaving the dorm for days on in, stuck in the chair coming up with new creative ways to make great music. DeMarvelous had close of peers who spent most of their time writing and recording rhymes but could not be paid to rap over one of his beats. He would spend unrealistic amounts of time trying to develop a great sound that would catch someones ears. In 2006 he had finally found his nitch in the game but didnt know how talented he had become in such a short period of time. He started off selling beats to any and everybody who rapped for five dollars. Then one day he got the news that a couple of his five dollar beats were gitting flipped for a hundred bucks a pop and he wasn’nt seeing the cash. Mid year DeMarvelous and his mother faced a crucial point in their lives facing eviction with no source of income. DeMarvelous then networked his way through metro area and sold thirty beats in one week saving family from eviction. Through his networking he came across a few major ghost production contract deals with a few major record labels. In the mix of completing his deals he ran into and worked with Stretch Money and is producing a few songs on Stretch’s new Album that is coming soon. In the mean time DeMarvelous took his earnings and went into business with close friend Scott Sherbrook Icon and founded Legacy Studios in March of 2008 which is a production label with three four producers that is bringing an amazing sound that will definitley set the city on fire and give a lot of Detroit artist the fuel they need to go national. Legacy Studios is Located In Ann Arbor MI and they provide affordible recording time and beats. Right now he is producing Andre Smartz Album and working with many more to bring the City back to where it belongs!
