I got this at her cd release party at ALVINS. along with two 12"s of
tracks of the cd. MAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!! Yall TRULLY missed a show!!!!
for $7 you had PHAT KAT, ELZHI,PL,BUFF 1,BLACK MILK,FAT RAY,MARV,
CODY,FINALE? and dig this THERE WERE FANS THERE AND NOT JUST ARTIST.
That had to be the best show I went to this year!

The name of the cd is called "SHAPE SHIFTERS" with the definition given:

"nothing ever truly dies; it merely changes form. Everything is
continuously reborn by shifting shape, and the elemental components are
constantly recycling. For example, if I were to give you a glass of
water and asked you to destroy the water, it is impossible. If you
drink it, the water becomes part of your body. In other words, nothing
can be destroyed. Everything merely shifts shape. this strongly
suggests shape-shifting is a natural state of existence"


And the hook on this song with the same name goes:

out from what she says she applying THE 5 ELEMENTS I just can't make
out what she saying )

Well I make up "THE CRATE DIGGERS" So Im A "SHAPE SHIFTER" I think
thats DOPER THAN THE VEINS OF BOBBY BROWN" As BIG P said. This happens
to be my favorite track on this cd. When she preformed it at ALVINS I
couldn't wate to get home and see which song it was on the cd, And dig
this it was on the 12" with the Instrumental, That track is str8 FISH
GREASE!! The Production on here gets a 10 outta 10 right off the bat.
WAAJEED,HOUSE SHOES,BLACK MILK,LABTECHS you CAN'T go wrong with that!!!!

I DON'T consider INVINCIBLE as a dope female artist, I consider her as
A DOPE ARTIST!!! This cd does more than prove it. this cd had me
THINKING like ? I never thought of it that way, like the definition of
SHAPE SHIFTER,and "ROPES" this is song on the cd, she said she wrote it
after a friend of hers who committed suicide, and the pastor condemned
him for his actions. Me Ive always believed if someone committed
suicide there a selfish coward bastard!!! for the reason that no matter
how bad it is for you someone is ALWAYS worse off than you and no
matter how bad someone hurts you, You have Family & friends,LOVE
you and it's not fair you leave them to mourn you in that way, it NEVER
goes away. even PETS They show you unconditional LOVE. But she said
"will they go to hell or heaven or if there were a chemical imbalance
in there cerebellum" I NEVER thought if a person had something wrong
with them, So i guest i have another way of thinking about that, BUT!!!
That just a small case i still feel the way I feel about Suicide.

My bad for going all off on that, AND NO!! the whole cd is not like that, I
just had to give the point that this cd made me think and I love when I
get challenge in music is stead of the cookie cutter music on the radio
now!!!!

My other favorite song on here is "SLEDGEHAMMER" this track is.......
my bad I appoligize for that but I keep she is ridding the HELL outta this beat. MC 101 here!!!

In the bonus track LOCUSTS feat. FINALE produced by HOUSE SHOES
INVINCIBLE says " I heard a wrecking ball hit a building thats mistaken
for vacant" I watched the video which is on the cd of this same song
and she has people who's talking about there community and then there's
a lady that starts talking and she said, THEY TORN HER HOUSE DOWN WHILE
SHE WAS STILL IN THERE!! Im like WTF!!! I just thought it was line that
INVINCIBLE was spitting in the verse, I didn't know that happen for
real. THATS F@#$% UP!!!! the Video along with the production should be
enuff for all to get this one.

First off I can't see NOT getting this cd, NOT because im saying to get
it but. ITS ONLY $7.99 there's 14 tracks , how can you lose on that?
Ive been talking about FINALE for a while now. He has to be on of the
most underated mc's in the game!!! Now SPIER 1200 I can't lie i haven't
heard of him till the cd. Ad I heard of the cd in a XXL Review.

I got this the day GUILTY cd drop 3-25-08 And every since then Ive been
playing it EVERYDAY!!! EVERYDAY!! EVERYDAY!!!! EV-ERY-DAAAAAY! I even
played it on the ZONE when I was spinning. MAN I gotta say for $7.99
Ive just commented a crime and got away with it!!

"THE RING" fea. JAZZ,WORDSWORTH & INVINCIBLE Is HANDS DONW my
favorate track on this cd. this tracks is soooooooooooo AIDS Infected
sick that Magic don't have a cure for it.

The song is about FINALE answer the phone and it's his boss, he don't
want to go to work , so he fake being sick, and while he's talking to
him, his line keeps clicking with other people like his mom, his boy,
and he's clicking over talking to each of them while keeping the others
on hold. WORDSWORTH Who i first heard of on MASTA ACE Long Hot Summer
cd. He's pissed that people keep calling him that he didnt give his
number to, and him and his girl get in to about his phone. And then
INVINCIBLE She sleep when her phone rings. If the song does catch you,
JAZZ on the HOOK will.

That hook is Beyond soul!

"FLY LOVE SONG" fea. 5ELA this sums up this cd,FINALE,INVINCIBLE,5ELA,
and the first time you fell in love with HIP HOP. weither your an
MC,DJ, Producer, B-BOY, Graffiti artist. he hits the nail right on the
head. Ill give you mine "It's like a DJ with his first crate of records
and he save up his salary for two weeks,to get his first set of
Technics, alone with a mixer get the picture?" When i heard that Im
like wow!! it took me back when i got My first crate of records, I put
my 12's on layaway at Colonial Merchdice mart On Griswald, And my mixer
from Radio Shack.

Yo one thing about this cd that you my notice I thought was dope, After
each song there's a small portion of a track on here I see they call it
"Interlude", Ive NEVER heard that on a cd before in my life!!!

SPIER 1200 Is str8 BANANAS IN MY CORN FLAKES ON THESE BEATS!! IE
"LIFE LESSON","FAMILY PORTRAIT" ( I feeeeeeel this track, I mean I
truly feel it!!"what would I be without you") "EYE OF THE BEHOLDER fea.
INVINCIBLE & ELZHI these 3 on a track alone should make you want to get this cd. im telling you they don't disapoint on this track!

NECO REDD Kills it on "ALL ABOUT US" I first heard of her on a track
with MZ KORONA She's a SOUL SINGER I can't lable her just R&B and I
can't stand the title NEO SOUL WHAT THE HELL IS THAT??

I have to give yall this quote, which is sick FINALE says "IF HIP HOP IS DEAD, THEN IM A ZOMBIE WITH ISSUES"

D sent me this in the mail a while ago. My bad Fam for taking so long
to get to it. You know what, I can't even start this off with saying
this. "WHO ARE YOU?" MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!! COULD I
PLEEEEEEASE GET THAT INSTRUMENTAL? This is HANDS DOWN My favorate track
on here, But, I want the instrumental cause I wanna do something with
it, Im telling you it's going to be Crazy, !!! What your saying in the
song just hits home with me, im the type of person when i hear
something I can SEE IT PLAY OUT, i don't know why, That's how I listen
to music. "FIND YOU" Dude i don't know what it is about that track just
makes me zone out when I hear it Andi don't even drink or smoke,I think
it's the KROG, the drums, You know what I don't even know. I like it.


The production on this is A1 !!!! If you never heard of D. ALLIE Never
heard him spit, I put any amount of money you will feel this cd. Opps I

Yo I know this is crazy way to do a review ,but i couldn't help it, and It's MY REVIEW!!
But On the real i didn't know that D. rap, I just thought you did the
promo for KILL THE BULLSHIT and was a crazy hip hop head! to take my
point even further track 3 "THE REMEDY" When it came on im like , were
the hell have i heard this song before? Then you started rap-n and im
like OOOO the DETROIT REMEDY mixtape.

Look for me getting new material from peeps i never heard of makes it
hard on me,And I DON'T look forward to listing to it, becasue 100% of
people i run into that give's me cd's and music 99.9% of it is AZZ
CRACK,medoka, or doesn't keep my attention AT ALL!! This here wasn't
one of them! There were just a few tracks on here that were just ok, or
what seem like fillers, for the most part it's coo.

Let me start this off by sayin WTF!!!!! this is like my 3rd time doing this review.
Im am beyond pissed!! Im useing my lap top which I ONLY use for my
SERATO but I FUBAR, my MAC and i have to take to get fixed, and this
laptop keeps deleting ish, or if it's not deleting it, Any time I try
to use the space bar to PUT A SPACE in between a word it erase it. ( I
called my boy andhe help mefix the problem The "INSERT" key?)

lOOK Im going to start saying MY BAD for being whcih may seem like
vague, but this is my 4th time doing this one,and I went into great
deatails on the last 3. To go into more detailsall you haveto do is GO
PICK UP THE CD!!!

I bought this cd from QUEST at the show, Yall know the one everyone
talk about going to but came up with excuse why they didn't show up.
Well it was ONLY $7 and It should retail for waaaaaaay more With QUEST
& MARV They truly explane what A BREATH OF FRESH AIR is!! Imma get
my favorates right off jump. WE IN HERE!!! I first heard MARV do this
atTHE BULL FROG, But on JUMP OFF It's QUEST on it and these guys str8
FIRST 48 this track (MARV know what I mean) to all others it means they
MURDER it!!

I also wrote in one of the 1st reviews of this that i was doing a lot
of skiping of tracks and That shouldn't take away from the cd, And the
reason for that was me being a TURNTABLIST ( I don't like using the
word DJ because everyone is a DJ nowadays, I can DJ BUT how many DJ'S
are truntablist?) And knowing MARV & QUEST I hear tracks way before
the public does, So on this cd I was going from like 3 to 19 to 12. so
that could be another reason for the vauge ness. Which in others tearms
doesn't mean that I don't like a track because I don't talk about
it,IVE HEARD IT BEFORE, so you then get the cd and se WHAT THE
FUCK!!!!!!!!

My bad people what I was type had erased i don'tknow what button I
pushed but I pushed it again and it came back. LOOK LET ME GIVE YOU MY
SCORE BEFORE THIS BITCH ERASE AGAIN AND I SAY F@#$%^ THIS REVIEW ISH!!
