Even at their young ages, they have managed to create a huge following. Their self produced CD's (The Rhyme Asylum Double CD Compilation "7ft Below The Surface" in '01, "Group Therapy" in '05, & The New Release "The Rhyme Asylum EP" in '07-'08) has taking the Metro Detroit hip-hop community by storm. Using there experience in performing, these entertainers born and raised in Detroit, MI came up through the trenches of underground hip-hop. In countless freestyle competitions never defeated, they earned the respect of every emcee they came across. Going back to when lyrics were the key to a hit song not just the hook. Rhyme Asylum combines great lyrics, catchy hooks, new age melodies, plus the basics (two turntables & a microphone) combined with a hype live performance you get a live & entertaining hip-hop experience. Spending long hours in studios recording and many more hours rehearsing for shows, R.A. is no rookies to hard work. Rhyme Asylum is a combination of two groups (Skilz) with consists of two members (Mad Skilz & ILL Skilz), (A.O.P. "Army Of Perfection") with also consists of two members (Perfect Eclipse & Perfect Hell) and 4 soloists (Mixo, Hench M.A.N., Dean Keaton, & Negative).
